As part of the sales team, I handle bookings and requests for winter sports holidays to Austria, France, Switzerland and Italy for individuals. The packages can consist of accommodation, ski passes, ski lessons, transportation and insurances. A monthly check and report on the sales of insurances is also part of my tasks. Furthermore I have contact with all kinds of national and international suppliers regarding contracts, availbilities and cooperations. We have developed our range of products in Italy by adding more ski villages and accommodations to our assortment.

HOTEL CENTRAL - GERLOS, AUSTRIA

At Hotel Central in Gerlos I ranked the position of Front- and Backoffice. Next to the receptionist tasks, I also maintained the social media of the hotel and updated the content on the website as well as on the website of the partner Hotel Victoria. Furthermore I maintained the content of booking channels and worked through different systems such as Casablanca, Typo3 and Seekda. My German and English language skills, as well in written as in verbal, improved on daily basis by communicating with colleagues, guests, suppliers and partners of different nationalities.

TRAVELBIRD - AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS

April 2014 - June 2015

 

I was responsible for the back office tasks for the Touroperating department at TravelBird for mostly Danish bookings. Touroperating is the department at TravelBird that arranges all offers including flights. My tasks were to book and confirm the offers for the clients and handle requests and complaints. Above this I checked the availability of our offers, upgrade the prices if necessary and open extra availability online. Next to this, I have used Amadeus to book flights. 

 

 

ALL-IN CHALETS - GERLOS, AUSTRIA

For All-In Chalets I Managed a chalet for groups of guests with all the related tasks such as: Hosting, guest relations, administration, preparing breakfast en dinner, cleaning the chalet, doing groceries for the group, and many more things.

 

 

TRAINING COMPANY NEWWAYS - BREDA, NETHERLANDS

At Training Company Newways I organized and accompanied on field trips, day excursions, congresses, and many more for students and lecturers from NHTV but also for external clients. During my work I had a lot of contact with national and international suppliers and agents.

My internship at the Operations department in Edinburgh, Scotland. During this internship I booked roundtrips through Scotland for international clients. During my work I had close contacts with a lot of local suppliers. 

 

 

CAMPING AUX RIVES DU SOLEIL - PONT-DE-VAUX, FRANCE

July 2010 – August 2010

 

I worked as a Front Desk Receptionist at Camping Aux Rives du Soleil in France. Daily tasks were to check-in and check-out guests, make resevartions, provide information, arrange excursions and run the small shop at the reception.

For this seasonal job, I work in the animation for KidsWorld for Dutch children who stayed in Hotel Pegasos World in Side.

HUMAN RESOURCE CAMPING AUX RIVES DU SOLEIL

January 2015 - Current

 

For Camping Aux Rives du Soleil I organized the applications for the upcoming season. I screened the candidates and invited them for an interview when they met the requirements. After that I held the interviews and advised the managers of Camping Aux Rives du Soleil whether to hire the applicants.

 

 

FIELDTRIP SEVILLE AND GRANADA

December 2012 – June 2013

 

Together with a colleague I organized this fieldtrip for a group of 160 tourism students from NHTV University of Applied Sciences. For this fieldtrip we have booked the airline tickets, the accommodations, a coach bus with driver and excursions such as a Flamenco show and entry to a few sightseeings. During the organisation of this fieldtrip I had contact with the students and kept them up to date about the fieldtrip through information letters, presentations and a program book. I also guided the group during the fieldtrip and made sure everything went according to plan.

 

 

N@TSCHOOL! SYMPOSIUM

November 2012 – April 2013

 

This congcress was commissioned by the creater of N@Tschool, Threeships. The congress took place at the 3rd of April and all users off the N@Tschool system were invited to attend workshops and lectures. Together with colleagues and Threeships I helped organizing this day.

 

 

 

ORGANIZING AND GUIDING A STUDYTRIP TO SLOVENIA
